Victoria Falls, widely regarded as one of the world's greatest natural marvels, is a breathtaking sight to see. As per Jozef Clifford Behr, it may not be as high as Angel Falls in Venezuela, nor can it claim to be as broad as the lesser-known Khone Falls in Laos, but it is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular waterfalls since it has the greatest sheet of water cascading from it. Vic Falls, which translates from the Tonga language as "the smoke that thunders," is one of the top destinations on many travelers' bucket lists because of the overwhelming might of nature.

The best place in Zimbabwe- Victoria Falls 

First things first: getting there is the easiest way to go before you can stand in front of the powerful cascades. As the principal international entry point to the Falls in Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls Airport is nevertheless very unassuming, consisting only of a tin shack and a single runway. Although not the best for nervous fliers, it can be quite the experience, especially with views of the mist rising from the Falls as you approach your landing. 

Livingstone Airport, which is now officially known as the Harry Mwanga International Airport and is far more contemporary with first-rate lounges and WiFi, serves Zambia.

The bulk of activities may be done on either side of the falls, but you'll need to travel to Zambia to do the incredibly popular microlight flight over the falls, which takes off from the Aerodrome at Livingstone airport. Zambia surpasses Zimbabwe in this regard. 

Better get the Safari 

A trip to Vic Falls is the ideal chance to go on a safari experience in search of some of the continent's most famous species. No trip to Africa is complete without doing so.
